- Carry out the duties of a Breathing Apparatus wearer as well as the duties of BA entry control officer as detailed by the duty Crew Manager.
- To turn out & drive the fire tender & other special emergency appliance and to operate the fire pumps and fixed firefighting systems at fire or non-fire emergencies at facilities involving flammables and hazardous materials.
- Inspection of vehicles and equipment to ensure their availability for the structural duties that may be required; any deficiencies found are to be reported directly to the duty Crew Manager.
- Participate in Scheduled drills and tactical exercises based on site specific PIPs, and to participate in joint emergency exercises.
- Respond to major emergencies following Emergency Management Procedures & Procedures beyond the call of duty hours.
- Operate a range fire vehicles and associated equipment such as branch or monitor operator, under the direction of the Crew Manager.
- Identifies innovative ideas and solutions for everyday work problems that contribute to on-going continuous improvement and which add value to the customer.

- Shows respect for individual differences and perspectives amongst colleagues.
- Minimum of 1-year operational experience as Firefighter.
- Qualification from accredited training providers such as NFPA 1001, 1002 1072 and 1081.
- Preferred to hold a clean light and heavy vehicle driving licenses issued in UAE or within GCC Countries.
- Medically and physically fit for operational duty.
- Prefers to have a previous or valid Operational Breathing Apparatus (BA) Certificate.
- Prefers to have a previous or valid First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to read and write in English.
