:Job Purpose:To drive heavy duty road tanker from Musaffah terminal to various customer, filling station/depot locations andback. To ensure that vehicle is in good operating condition for delivery of products.Job Specific Accountabilities:Drives H/D road tanker from terminal loading bay to various customer or fillingstation/depot locations and back, according to dispatch schedules and work shifts. Inspects the vehicle before loading to ensure that routine maintenance checks have been carried outby workshop personnel and informs any defects to Dispatch Supervisor. Performs various checks likeavailability of hoses and couplings in the vehicle. Ensures that product compartment of the vehicle isempty before loading any products. Checks tyres and lights and ensures that fuel tanks are full beforeproceeding on trips. Collects the FAN (Filling Advice Note) from Dispatch Supervisors for loading of product into thevehicle. Perform various checks before starting the loading operations like vehicle capacity ismatching the FAN receipt, check on the filling system and meter, earthing system, remove the stopperetc. Ensures that compartments are sealed after loading. Conduct safe loading operations at loading by ensuring that house pipe and coupling are properlyconnected with pump, select the loading compartment, enter loading quantity and monitor the loadingactivity, seal vehicle after loading. Report to supervisor in case of any emergency or abnormality inloading operations. Collects PDN/PTNs from the terminal gate after loading is finished. Hands over PDN/PTN-s tocustomers/filling stations for their signature and returns them to Dispatch Supervisors after delivery ofproducts. Connects and disconnects hoses to storage tanks at customer/ filling station/depot sites. Attends vehicle in the event of an accident or breakdown, until the arrival of workshop crew. Performs duties according to dispatch schedules and work shifts, and at any time required by deliveryrequirements, as per Transport supervisors’ instructions.RequirementsMinimum Qualification Intermediate School, Secondary School, DiplomaMinimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 3 years of experience in driving H/D vehicles for transporting inflammable petroleum productsProfessional Certifications Heavy Vehicle License
