- Compile and analyze data obtained from field investigations and laboratory tests to assess soil and rock properties.
- Support the design team in the development of geotechnical designs for foundations, slopes, retaining structures, and other ground engineering applications.
- Collaborate with engineers and geologists to evaluate geotechnical risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Assist with the implementation of quality control procedures and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong academic background with coursework in soil mechanics, geology, geotechnical engineering, and related subjects.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software applications such as slope stability analysis, finite element analysis, and CAD software is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative and a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in geotechnical engineering or related fields is an asset.
