The Co-Founders of a burgeoning start-up in the UAE are searching for a creative and meticulous Senior Product Designer to join their team, building a benefits super-platform for the Middle East. With a best-in-class product, businesses can decide which benefits to offer; how they look (thanks to white-labelling and integration API capabilities), with many more features and functionalities offering benefits that truly make a difference to employees' lives.This is a pioneering company, ahead of any other business in the region offering products such as: End of Service Benefits, Savings and Investments, Executive Incentive Plans (LTIPs), Financial Education, Salary Advance and more.We’re looking for a candidate with strong experience in User Experience Research, Product- and Brand Design with a global focus. The team will be building additional capabilities in areas including brand design, industrial design, motion design, data visualisation, and design operations. The successful person is fundamental to driving and overseeing product design within the company, design strategy, and operations to achieve the wider vision of the business at large.We’re looking for an outstanding Senior Product Designer who wants to transition into a Head of Product Design role within a fast paced company, and build a world-class product design function for the best fintech products on the market.Responsibilities

Execute across all phases of design work: participate in research, define conceptual foundation for design solutions, execute excellent UX flows, apply visual design systems, prototype using a variety of tools and methods, create production ready designs, participate or conduct usability testing and support multi-disciplinary teams during implementation
You work independently on a complex set of features, collaborate with product management and engineering to arrive at optimal solutions and coordinate across teams to create a holistic merchant experience
You proactively engage with peers and users to get feedback and optimise the end-2-end customer journey
You contribute best-of-class design components and UX patterns and commit to upholding the highest standards and a shared vision
Your design process follows a human-centred approach and you apply both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to validate your solutions
Your excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills will help you communicate the value of design and design rational across the whole company

Qualifications

BA or MA in Design or related fields, or complementary studies with deep work experience in product design
> 6 years of experience as a UX & UI Designer, with deep expertise in one and strong skills in the other
You know the common design tools and services
You have designed and shipped complex web and mobile applications across the entire product development cycle
You contribute best-of-class design components and UX patterns to the global design system and commit to upholding the highest standards and a shared vision
You have experience in working in an agile environment and the ability to adapt quickly to changing product priorities
Experience in applying Service Design process, methods and principles is a plus

Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
