:Scope of Work – Data QualityOne year extendable contractThese services are required to support the goals of business and operations transformation, and end-to-end delivery of data Quality activities.The scope of the Data Management Data Quality specialist should cover the following responsibilities but not limited to it:
  • Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
  • Evaluating system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality.
  • Collaborating with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.
  • Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
  • Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
  • Reporting data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
  • Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.
  • Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.
  • Define business rules to be used by upstream end users and data management team to enhance data quality awareness and contribution the upstream community.
  • Define and Develop workflow, processes and business rules to ensure that the data quality is maintained at the appropriate level, within the corporate database
  • Conduct gap / root cause analysis and understand business impact, present findings and resolve issues.
  • Ensure that quality control techniques and methodology are applied as per defined guidelines and industry standards and provides inputs to prepare, establish and verify data that will be used for geosciences studies.
  • Participate in data governance and data stewardship activities and ensure data quality policies are applied.
  • Monitor, measure, and evaluate continuous data quality improvement by performing periodic data quality reviews and report metrics Perform audits as required to ensure quality processes exist and are being adhered and recommend remedial actions arising from identified business challenges.
  • Define the integration requirements between source of data to ensure data quality consistency and integrity.
  • Provide on-going first level support, assistance and awareness to users as per set data management data quality standards, processes and procedures. Performs data entry validations, verifying captured data against business rules, naming conventions and standards.
  • Ensure application of data quality standards for user interfaces and data visualization tools for retrieval, access and viewing as per our organization rules.
  • Build appropriate review points in new Information Management processes, and establish guidelines / KPI / templates / checklists for the deliverables at these review points. Review, update and recommend value-adding improvements for the existing Information Management processes in terms of adequacy with guidelines / KPI / templates / checklists.
  • Liaise with organization Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assess different data sources and data types, and come up with standards, conventions and data quality rules to be implemented consistently across organization and data providers.
  • Establish a monitoring system that would measure data quality dimensions status across organization. Set all prerequisite requirements that will accurately measure data completeness KPI.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications Requirement:
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL, ETL and Data Quality tools (Informatica, Infosphere, Talent,..)
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze data, integrate data
  • Experience with Data Integration from Informatica and Azure Data Factory, Azure Data lake, Azure Data Bricks
  • Proven pro-active, self-starter with the ability to work both as an individual and within a team to resolve issues
  • Experience in Data warehousing
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Experience with reporting packages such as Power BI
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, or similar.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
