- Oversee day to day operations offshore
- Ensure that maximum uptime on all operating equipment is achieved (safely).
- Improve and increase operating efficiency and throughput/uptime of cuttings treatment handling and associated equipment and services.
- Manage and participate in morning calls & daily reports.
- Plan and delegate daily operations and work allocation.
- Ensure completion of daily check sheets.
- Manage the operation of process equipment, including the safety aspects of such equipment.
- Ensure that routine checks on all plant and equipment are carried out.
- Ensure that plant is maintained in good working order through the relevant Company and site operating procedures.
- Ensure good operating practices are adopted by all employees through effective communication and operator training. Ensure compliance with written procedures. Ensure that all environmental, safety and quality procedures are followed.
- Regularly seek to identify and implement improved ways of working.
- Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained on the site at all times.
- Ensure site security at all times.
- Ensure that operational equipment spare stock/stock level is monitored and appropriately managed.
- Provide information for âend of wellâ summary reports. Provide information for monthly Operations Reports.
- Ensure that Client relations are optimized through efficient service delivery, maximized service offering and regular client briefings/meetings.
- Generate a clear message to clients about the full scope of service offerings
- Understand and proactively manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the project to maximize business and revenue
- Establish client awareness of additional service offerings, generate upsell opportunities and feedback to onshore management.
- Clearly and regularly communicate with subordinate staff, both formally and informally, to ensure expectations are understood, taking account of the diverse ethnic, cultural and linguistic background of the operations team.
- Provide a site induction for staff new to the island.
- Facilitate âon the jobâ training for new staff and âcontinuityâ training for all other staff. Ensure that appropriate records are maintained and shared with onshore management.
- Conduct timely and quality appraisals and field assessments as per required KPIs.
- Align with relevant stakeholders to support and supervise Training & Competency plan.
- Set performance targets for all processes and personnel for which you are responsible.
- Liaise with HR & direct line manager for Disciplinary and Grievance matters.
- Diploma/ Bachelorâs degree in engineering/ business administration/ industrial discipline or equivalent technical qualification or secondary qualification & equivalent technical experience of at least 5 years in similar role and related field (E)
- Bachelorâs/ Masterâs degree in Mechanical or Electrical/ Engineering (P)
- Certified IMS (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 & API Spec Q2) Internal Auditor with minimum of 2 years Auditing experience. (P)
- Basic Offshore Survival Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) (E)
- Relevant technical certification in related discipline (P)
- Minimum 5-6 years total working experience in similar role, with 5+ years managing team / in supervisory role) in relevant sector (energy / oil & gas) and with an aggregate of 4 year offshore/ island-based work experience (E).
- Worked at least minimum of 3-4 yearsâ experience working within oilfield drilling waste industry as related service or process provider (P)
- Proven experience in managing staff and allocating work appropriately (E)
- Demonstrate excellent HSE understanding and working knowledge (P)
