- Coordinate the LEED and Mostadam certification process, including preparation of documentation, submission, and tracking of credits.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize building performance and achieve targeted sustainability goals.
- Conduct material reviews to assess the sustainability and environmental impact of construction materials, including sourcing, manufacturing processes, and end-of-life disposal.
- Develop strategies for sustainable material selection, prioritizing options with low embodied carbon, recycled content, and renewable resources.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to procure environmentally preferable materials and products that meet project specifications and sustainability goals.
- Implement construction waste management plans to minimize waste generation, maximize recycling and reuse opportunities, and divert waste from landfills.
- Monitor and track waste streams throughout the construction process, identifying opportunities for waste reduction and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, architecture, engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and Mostadam AP (preferable)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting, green building, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of LEED and Mostadam rating systems, with previous experience in successfully obtaining certifications.
- Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools and software (e.g., LEED Online).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
