- Take a leading role in the Company’s project management and planning processes and managing dependencies across the divisions and the consolidation of all project related activities.
- Lead, execute and support projects ranging from mid-sized process improvements to major business transformation initiatives based on project management practices and quality, time and budget standards.
- Co-operate with functional colleagues to ensure that the business process designs are optimised and will meet end user needs from a process, technology and people perspectives.
- Ensure operations processes follow established policies as well as regulatory and best in industry standards.
- Perform post project reviews with stakeholders to ensure that changes have successfully been executed and that approved budgets have been adhered to.
- Supervise the Project Manager for implementing and maintaining document storage system that will contain all documentation for all projects and which can be readily and easily accessed by stakeholders in the company.
- Keep up to date on current and evolving operational excellence trends which could make a material improvement to business performance, e.g. digital developments such as predictive analytics, RPA, Blockchain.
- Produce regular reports for Project Sponsors, ELT and VP Corporate Excellence giving updates on current projects and for future projects that have been submitted for evaluation, as appropriate.
