Job Title: Legal Advisor & Public RelationsJob Code: Legal Advisor & Public RelationsPosition: Legal Advisor & Public RelationsThe purpose of this position is to oversee all the legal transactions on behalf of the company, both locally and internationally, including liaison with government and ministries, and to provide advice and suggestions to the management and employees on all legal issues.Key Responsibilities:❏ Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, construction and development.❏ Interpret and ensure compliance with local real estate laws and regulations in GCC.❏ Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements related to real estate including without limitation Contracting, Sales & Purchase and Lease agreement.❏ Ensure that contractual terms protect the organization's interests and comply with legal requirements.❏ Drafting and reviewing international portfolios/commercial agreements, contracts and other legal documents and providing comments and observations in detail.❏ Conduct due diligence and title searches on real estate properties to assess their legal status and potential risks.❏ Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations.❏ Assist in the structuring and execution of real estate transactions, including the preparation of transaction documentation before all related.❏ Governmental & Non-Governmental entities and coordination with external parties.❏ Ensure all regulatory and legal approvals are obtained.❏ Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices in GCC.❏ Conduct legal research to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.❏ Assist in the resolution of real estate disputes, which may include negotiations, mediation, or, if necessary, litigation.❏ Collaborate with external legal counsel when needed.❏ Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation related to real estate transactions.❏ Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.❏ Collaborate with internal teams, including real estate, finance, and operations, to address legal issues and provide guidance.❏ Build strong working relationships with external legal partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders.❏ Conduct training and awareness programs for staff to ensure a good understanding of legal matters in real estate activities.❏ Advise on risk management and best practices.❏ Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintain the highest ethical standards.❏ Handle and coordinate legal affairs pertaining to the company, employees and clients❏ Evaluate results and develop strategies for any legal issues or cases.❏ Determine the feasibility of legal defense for any prosecution after careful consideration of related data.❏ Provide legal advice on pending legal issues and cases and make the right decisions in the interest of the company in taking legal action.❏ Evaluate company's legal position and functions and discuss with management as needed.❏ Maintain confidentiality of company legal matters and business and ensure that proper safeguards are taken by others through regular reviews and audits.❏ Conduct legal due diligence and investigations concerning lands & properties; and participate in the drafting of preliminary and final reports and contractual agreements.❏ Coordination of legal tasks with third party lawyers, convey legal advice and follow-up information to Investment managers, in consultation with attorneys or external lawyers, regarding the legal implications, risks, and liabilities of proposed and actual policies, practices, and contractual situations.❏ Conduct legal and factual research and data analysis as directed.❏ Negotiate specific contractual issues and agreements with external entities as appropriate.❏ Responsible for certifying and attesting documents intended for use anywhere in the world.❏ Ensure all documents are verified thoroughly in respect of all required legal formalities.❏ Assist in investigations and legally advise the company regarding legal disputes and claims.❏ Participate in meetings and conferences pertaining to resolution of contracting issues.❏ Updating management with any new laws locally or internationally.❏ Report regularly to management on legal and related issues.❏ Arrange minutes of board meetings and general assemblies and record them in a professional manner in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements.❏ Follow up with/monitor Mandoubs on all assigned tasks.❏ Be adaptable and open to handling a variety of legal tasks and projects as assigned by CEO or Board of Directors.❏ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.Key Skills:❏ Strong problem-solving skills❏ Excellent analytical skills❏ Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic❏ High quality drafting and documentation skills❏ Presentation Skills❏ Ability to work under pressure❏ Corporate Law❏ Due DiligenceHow to Apply:Please use the link ( to complete the job form.Also, select the above-mentioned job position and job reference code while completing the form.Also, note that this position is available for Kuwait local candidates only.Interested candidates, please email us your CV: hr@zaleej.comNote: We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those candidates selected for interviews will be contactedRequirementsMinimum Requirements:❏ Bachelor's Degree in law. Current practicing certificate (or equivalent membership of recognized professional law body).❏ Minimum 7 years to 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in Commercial and real estate Investments legal experience gained internationally or with a leading regional firm. Should possess a consistent career history.❏ Knowledge of Kuwaiti Law❏ Knowledge of various major international legal system (UK, USA, France etc.)❏ Should be able to draft Arabic and International legal contracts.❏ Proficient in MS Office, email, tech-savvy.❏ Ability to deal with diverse clientele across nations.
