Tabby launched operations in 2020 and has raised +$1 billion in equity and debt funding from global and regional investors.About the role:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE Civil Law, specifically in Debt/Collections/Fraud, and will be responsible for managing collections and fraud litigation with UAE courts and external counsel. This role will be dedicated to collections, including issuing notices and managing fraud cases.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of debt collections, including issuing notices, following up with debtors, and coordinating with external parties.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents related to debt collection and fraud litigation.
  • Research legal issues related to debt collection and fraud to support legal strategies.
  • Liaise with external counsel and other relevant parties to ensure efficient handling of legal matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal matters and documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Law, particularly in Debt/Collections/Fraud.
  • Previous experience in debt collection and fraud litigation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases.
