TECHNICIAN ELECTRICAL (FIELD- EHV-PDP)

- Carries out electrical maintenance work on equipment such as Alternators , switch boards, transformers , battery chargers , emergency diesel generators , distribution boards, MCC's, water distillation plants, motors and air-conditioning units.
- Diagnoses and rectifies electrical faults on electrical equipment on site or on workshop, as applicable. Includes generating equipment, various types of motors, electrical control systems and communication systems.
- Checks and maintains electric and diesel welding sets. Carries out routine inspection and servicing of refrigerated food containers, laundry and kitchen equipment. Checks batteries and recharge as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as required and trains UAE national developers, Observing safety regulations.
- Ensures compliance with the client's HSE regulations, procedures and standards.
- Contributes actively and systematically in achieving business objective & KPI. Contributes in achieving HSE targets and environmental requirements.
- Supervises or checks the work carried out by contractor/project.
- Works in line with HSE policy, and ensures awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
- Supervises maintenance and repair work carried out by contractors for the super complex/field to ensure compliance with specifications, codes of practice and scope of work determined.
- Reviews and approves recommendations on appropriate technical actions to secure appropriate running of equipment and plants.
- Completion of secondary school Education followed by 2 years formal training leading to a Diploma in Electrical Field.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in Electrical maintenance work in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industries.
- Proficient in English
- 3 - 5 years experience in electric maintenance and repair work of HV/LV electrical equipment. Minimum 3Years in Oil & Gas industry. Knowledge of Electrical and Control systems/ tools/ techniques/ practices.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
