- Managing all Finance and Accounting Operations
- Preparing and publish, with assistance of our junior team, monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Management and oversight of accounts receivable, accounts payable management, sales ledger, purchase ledger etc.
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Liaise with external auditors for Financial Audit
- Forecasting future financial performance
- Preparing financial forecasts for prospective investors
- Investor portfolio management and reporting
- Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Inter-company account management
- Financial Analysis & Reviews of Borrowers
- Ability to present to key stakeholders and investors
- Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
- Previous Financial Controller experience required, 5+ years
- Experience working for a lending business is helpful, however not essential
- Experience working for UK businesses
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent)
- Xero experience essential
- Experience of controlling the finance function from transactional level
- Experience of managing a team
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels
- Dedicated and flexible work attitude towards completion of deliverables
- Able to demonstrate strong business acumen
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the group
- Pro active to enhance business performance
- Competitive salary (300,000-400,000 AED pa), dependent on experience
