- Design and oversee the construction of concrete manufacturing facilities, including batch plants, mixers, and storage facilities, adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess the suitability of locations for new manufacturing facilities.
- Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects, considering factors such as materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and compliance with project timelines and budgets.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to assess the integrity and stability of concrete structures, recommending design modifications as needed.
- Conduct quality control inspections and tests on concrete materials and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to concrete manufacturing processes and equipment, implementing effective solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in concrete technology, and regulatory requirements, incorporating best practices into engineering designs and processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams, assisting with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of concrete manufacturing equipment.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the engineering department, promoting adherence to safety protocols and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven minimum 2year experience as a Civil Engineer in building construction
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering analysis and design tools.
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and work effectively within a team.
