- Develop, control and monitor business risk strategy identifying possible risk areas and ensure alignment with the corporate business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of a system for risk identification, measurement, management, and reporting in the operating procedures. Carry out walkthrough activities to verify the effectiveness of the mitigation measures.
- Help to establish and maintain a comprehensive program that ensures legal, regulatory and corporate policy requirements are embedded in the business activities of the company and compliance issues are properly reported and monitored.
- Design and execute testing to validate the implementation of corrective action plans aimed at mitigating compliance risk.
- Research and analyse best practices in order to enhance risk management in the company and maintain current knowledge and repository (database) of applicable laws and regulations, keeping abreast of recent changes.
- Report and investigate violations or potential violations of the standard procedures and practices in the company that could create a potential risk.
