: • Inspects all existing fixed and mobile plants, equipment and installations in assigned area of responsibility to ensure adherence to Company's established Safety rules, standards and codes of practice. • Monitors implementation of the approved annual safety programme. Audits compliance with all safety and environmental protection regulations and procedures. • Promotes awareness of site personnel to safety. Investigates industrial incidents/ accidents and writes related statistical and analytical reports. • Frequent contacts with work associates in the Department up to Snr. Engineers level to exchange of information. • Daily contacts with concerned Departmental Heads / Senior Supervisors to discuss safety issues and provide advice. • Frequent contacts with all levels of site personnel to ensure adherence to safety standards and co ordinate conducting fire and safety drills. • Works according to Company's established standards and procedures. Exercises latitude and judgement when investigating incidents / accidents. Reports major problems to Supervisor. • Completed work is subject to review by Supervisor.
