Negotiate terms and conditions, prices, and payment terms with suppliers to obtain the best possible value and terms for purchases.
Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues with deliveries, including shortages, damages, or quality concerns.
Coordinate with internal departments to identify procurement needs and requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement activities.Requirements:Proven experience as a purchasing officer or in a similar procurement role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
