Operational1. Work collaboratively with the business and Technical teams (projects and departments) to understand, collate, and document their requirements2. Develop, manage, and enhance the Enterprise Techincal Architecture (ETA) related meta-model and repository3. Manage and own enterprise level Technology assets in the EA repository and becoming their steward4. Collaborate with PMO, Solution Delivery and Service Delivery Teams to define the process govening areas of ETA within Programs and Projects5. Transition knowledge to Technical Architects and Junior Staff within the Unit6. Define and refine Enterprise Technical Architecture in alignment with the team lead As business needs evolve, work closely with Business units to understand their needs and its implication on Architecture and established Architecture standards7. Lead Technology Life-Cycle Management This will include identifying emerging technologies, defining standards that state which technologies are to be used for what purpose and introducing and retiring technologies This will include tools, middleware, databases, server software and packaged products8. Collaborate closely with Business Architects in developing and managing Enterprise Solution blueprint and ensures its evolution vis-à-vis business and IT environment changes9. Guides and manages development of Standards, Guidelines, Policies pertainaing areas of ETA10. Work closely with Solution vendors and internal Teams to ensure standard Compliance and Quality of Service11. Work closely with Business architects in the identification, sequencing, and implementation of key business solutions12. Provide leadership in solutions and models that cross business units’ and departments’ boundaries to provide a holistic approach of EA leveraging synergies for a competitive gain13. Develop, motivate and direct surbodinate staff to create a team environment in order to fulfill the objectives of the unit and EA programConfidentialityMaintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in line with Dubai Customs information security policies and procedures in order to protect information from any disclosure or misuse.QualificationsQualifications and ExperienceMinimum Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering or related disciplineExperience:Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in the capacity Technical Architecture Experience of working in a multi-cultural and customer facing environment
