management and hydrocarbon recovery from all reservoirs in line with the Field
Development Plan and achieve the Company’s specified objectives.· Define data gathering requirements, monitor reservoir and well performance and acquisition to reduce uncertainties and ensure understanding of reservoir models.· Provides expertise to support in the application of Dynamic Modelling tools and
interpretation of the results.· Provide Dynamic Model input to the Well Delivery Process (WDP) in order to support optimum
decisions regarding well location, completion, and productivity.· Define, maintain and improve Dynamic Modelling processes to continuously improve
understanding of reservoir behaviour.· Collect basic data related to reservoir fluid properties from the field or laboratory report; this will include data from coring, logging, fluid sampling and well testing.· Carry out a detailed analysis on pressure, volume and temperature (PVT) and special core analysis (SCAL) data for use in deriving proper correlation for fluids and rock characteristics; this will include assembling, reviewing, selecting, manipulating and analyzing basic reservoir data from various sources.· Prepare all reservoir data for numerical simulation; maintain and update assigned data files on the computer, and input numerical model data from reservoir data maps or tabulations.· Carry out classical and special reservoir engineering studies, including performing hand calculation to check data accuracy before running computer model.· Analyze study results, check reservoir parameters and perform pressure history match to ensure reliability of results and discuss anomalies with Supervisor.· Carry out other similar or related duties such as preparing reservoir status report and providing advice or recommendations, as required.Supervision· Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.· Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective Department objectives.Budgets· Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Department objectives.· Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures· Implement approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.Performance Management· Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the function in line with the Company Performance framework.Innovation and Continuous Improvement· Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.· Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability· Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and client Code of Practices.Reports· Provide inputs to prepare Department MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
