- Effectively communicate the hotel and company philosophy to visitors.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the hotel layout and the surrounding city area.
- Familiarize oneself with all VIP guests in-house, hotel events, and special functions.
- Regularly gather feedback on VIP guests, utilizing various sources such as Google, Opera PMS, and internal briefings.
- Disseminate VIP guest information to relevant hotel departments through daily reports and ensure guest profiles are updated accordingly.
- Extend a warm welcome and bid farewell to guests whenever possible, with special attention given to top VIPs.
- Collaborate with Front Office Manager (FOM) and General Manager (GM) to create personalized itineraries for top VIPs and coordinate their arrivals and departures.
- Gather comprehensive information about guests' stays for guest history records.
- Assist visitors with general inquiries, internal promotions, and directions within the hotel.
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and courteously, escalating issues to relevant departments for resolution.
- Maintain records of all guest complaints and requests, ensuring follow-up and communication with relevant departments.
- Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
- Engage with guests throughout the hotel, providing assistance and fostering positive interactions.
- Attend and actively participate in daily briefings.
- Identify and rectify potential hazards promptly.
- Provide guests with information on hotel services and promotions.
- Report any unusual circumstances affecting guest service to senior management.
- Make decisions regarding upgrades, complimentary services, and rebates in accordance with hotel policies.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a position in Front Office or Guest Relations preferably in an international five-star hotel
- Fluent English
- Food & Beverage and Sales experience is a plus
