: • Organizing and supervising the design, operation and maintenance of the telecommunication links and equipment in line with the recommended standards and performance levels for the telecommunication support for the fields. • Prepares and monitors first and second line maintenance of vital communication systems/equipment. • Prepares specifications for telecommunications service contracts and required equipment/services and perform the Annual Maintenance Contact for Telecoms critical equipment in order to maintain high availability and reliability. • Supervise Telecom specialists and Technicians and co-ordinate with Abu Dhabi team. • Follow-up all installation, maintenance, commissioning and operational activities for a variety of telecommunication services to various users. • Supervises and monitors contractor’s workforce carrying out repairs, installation and commissioning of existing and new equipment to ensure adherence to approved Telecoms standards/Codes and compliance with provision of contracts • Prepares technical specifications and scope of work to approved standards for various Telecoms projects, evaluate technical bids and prepares evaluation reports. • Recommend and implement appropriate solutions for operational problems/anomalies of Telecommunication Equipment/Systems at Field.
