- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Define and prioritize IT initiatives and projects to support business objectives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure systems.
- Lead the development and integration of enterprise-wide systems and applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, including systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure operational efficiency and security.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and measures to protect the organization's IT assets and data.
- Monitor and assess IT risks and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost-effective and high-quality IT services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT operations and data management.
- Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks and processes to support compliance efforts.
- Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT department.
- Percentage of time IT infrastructure systems are available and operational.
- Average duration and frequency of system downtime incidents.
- Number and severity of cybersecurity incidents, including breaches, malware infections, and data leaks.
- Feedback from internal stakeholders on IT services and support.
Years of Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successful IT strategy development and execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BCS), Information Technology, or a related field. Master's (MCS) degree preferred. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, PMP, or others are a plus.
