- Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.
- Lead and participate in reconciliation system implementations, configurations, and upgrades, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Utilize expertise in reconciliation methodologies and tools, with a focus on FIS reconciliation software, to assess, design, and implement reconciliation solutions for clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in reconciliation processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization within client operations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their reconciliation requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of reconciliation data to identify discrepancies, trends, and anomalies, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for clients on reconciliation processes, tools, and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in reconciliation technologies, incorporating relevant knowledge into client engagements.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, facilitating communication and ensuring project milestones are met within established timelines.
- Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.
- Defines product scope, objectives and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing.
- Creates detailed specifications from which product configuration will be done.
- Consults directly with clients and may travel to client site.
- Mentor junior consultants, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth and development within the team.
- May serve as pre-sales support specialist when needed.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in reconciliation solution implementation or managing reconciliation processes, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with FIS reconciliation tools or similar reconciliation software, including design, system configuration, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and discrepancies.
- Proven track record of successfully leading reconciliation projects from inception to completion, meeting project objectives and deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development and conversion methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in application development in objective-oriented development or other relevant technology
- Knowledge of application architecture
- Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies
- Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
- Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
