Job DescriptionOversee and facilitate data stewardship activities for business data stewards across multiple domains and departments.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive consensus on data governance practices and framework.Collaborate with the Meta data and Data Quality Management team to ensure that the identified data quality gaps are socialized with respective data stewards for remediation.Oversee remediation approaches and data quality remediation projects to ensure timely and effective resolution.Ensure policy embedding within various business domains to maintain compliance and adherence to data governance policies and regulatory requirements.Assist in conducting periodic data stewardship forums for aiding the over all data stewardship effort in the organization to have consistency and consensus in the effort to drive toward a common goal of stewardship.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data stewardship processes by guiding data stewards on best practices and methodologies that are appropriate for the improvement and maintenance of data under their ownershipConduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in data quality and data remediation approaches.Conduct awareness programs, technical training and documentation with various stakeholders in support of data governance and master data management tool.Competencies/SkillsExperience with data management tools and technologies such as Informatica and CollibraExperience in developing and implementing data governance policy, process and controls.In depth knowledge of data governance standards, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with Excel, SQL etc.Banking Products, services and Banking/Operations workflow knowledge
