2. Conduct comprehensive oral assessments and screenings to identify oral health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits, to promote optimal oral health.
4. Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to prevent tooth decay and cavities.
5. Take dental X-rays and assist the dentist in evaluating dental radiographs for diagnosis and treatment planning.
6. Perform periodontal charting and assist in periodontal therapy procedures as needed.
7. Provide support during dental surgery procedures, including assisting the dentist, preparing surgical instruments, and maintaining a sterile surgical environment.
8. Assist in cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as teeth whitening, dental bonding, and veneer placement, to enhance patients' smiles and confidence.
9. Assist in general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions, to address patients' dental needs and maintain oral health.
10. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical findings.
11. Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
12. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
13. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques, technology, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
2. Valid Dental Hygienist license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
3. Minimum of [insert number] years of experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
4. Proficiency in performing dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, and periodontal therapy.
