- Always represent Jacobs culture and mission.
- Support technical inputs or lead technical delivery of Jacobs projects (e.g. specialist studies, EIAs, Management Plans, urban plans, strategic reporting).
- Collaborate with or manage local and global experts or suppliers to ensure Jacobs best provides best practice solutions to our clients.
- Prepare and deliver high quality reports and presentations to clients technical and senior leadership in line with Jacobs quality process.
- Understand and promote Jacobs solutions and technologies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel, when required within region to attend client or team workshops, presentations or conduct site reconnaissance.
- The role will be predominantly office based, but periodic field assignments may be required.
Here’s what you’ll need
- As a successful candidate, you will have a at a minimum an undergraduate degree (post graduate level preferred) in the field of Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or Urban Planning. Specialization in fields like ecology, noise/air/marine modelling, environmental data management, sustainable and/or regenerative design, natural resource management and decarbonization are preferred.
- 8-15 years (depending on the role) of practical experience in delivering and and/or advising in services related to environmental planning and assessment, strategic reporting, specialist studies, or digital solutions deployment.
- Strong organization skills are required. Technical writing and communication skills in English are essential and Arabic is highly regarded.
- Demonstratable commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks (IEMA or equivalent chartered status is preferred), company communities of practice groups or similar.
