- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for refueling technicians, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Design training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate effective learning and consistent performance.
- Conduct training sessions to educate new hires and existing staff on refueling techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules for into-plane refueling vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize and address maintenance issues promptly, minimizing downtime and optimizing vehicle performance.
- Ensure maintenance budget is optimized.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines throughout all refueling operations.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to aviation fuel handling and refueling operations.
- Conduct safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of refueling technicians, promoting a positive work culture and high-performance standards.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, maintenance schedules, and inspection reports.
- Generate reports on training outcomes, maintenance activities, and safety performance for management review.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and supporting compliance efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience in aviation refueling operations, fuel handling, and maintenance of into-plane refueling vehicles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation, reporting, and training purposes.
