You implement Quality and Risk Management processes, participate in training, and assist in meeting department goals while also conducting nursing record reviews and maintaining confidentiality.Skills & Competencies:
- English B2/C1.
- Computer literacy and willing adherence to data workflow rules.
- Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards;
- Knowledge of quality control practices and procedures;
- Knowledge of nursing theory and practice;
- Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops;
- Use current research methods for problem-solving.
- Teach Quality Management topics to nurses and hospital staff as needed.
- Ability to make evaluative judgments, investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions;
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing;
- Minimum of 5 years continuous working experience in Nursing of which at least 2 years are recent direct experience in Quality and Leadership;
- Master's degree in nursing, quality management or health administration;
- Current valid registration in Home Country and Eligible for Saudi licensure and SCFHS Registration;
- Locally available in KSA (transferable Iqama) / overseas candidates.
As Quality and Risk Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Coordinate all activities related to Quality management.
- Oversee implementation of Quality Procedures and Policies throughout the hospital.
- Implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to comply with accreditation standards (MOH, JCIA, CBAHI, etc.).
- Establish and maintain hospital-wide standards for Quality Management.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate procedures and policies related to Quality Management.
- Influence and motivate staff for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and document quality care incidents.
- Monitor service standards to improve incident findings.
- Participate in Quality Management Committee activities.
- Collaborate with administrative and medical staff to maintain patient care standards.
- Plan and prepare Quality Management Reports monthly and annually.
- Report any occurrences not consistent with hospital operations or service standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis as necessary.
- Conduct environmental rounds and documentation audits.
- Collect and analyze performance data against defined parameters.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Identify and deliver relevant quality-related training.
- Adhere to safety and security measures.
- Participate in the Hospital Educational Quality Program.
- Assume duties and responsibilities for Quality Management activities.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to address issues.
- Maintain accurate records and statistics related to Quality Management.
- Dress appropriately for the work area.
- Build key partnerships within the organization.
- Comply with regulations related to mentoring, training, and development.
- Comply consistently with facility policies, procedures, and practices.
- Complete and maintain regulatory requirements (licensure, certification, training).
- Maintain confidentiality of information exchanged.
- Prioritize and recommend improvements according to the PDCA cycle.
- Ensure cost-effective quality care and identify areas for improvement.
- Promote the hospital's image by improving patient satisfaction.
- Perform other assigned tasks within knowledge, skills, and abilities.
