: Monitors construction & commissioning activities, within his area and ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with the contractual obligations and company guidelines. At the yard, inspects instrumentation ,equipment, structures or materials to identify any defects and report to his supervisor To observe and check PLC system and associated data acquisition systems ,piping isometrics , plant layout , P&I diagrams, plant plot plan drawings ,construction drawings related to control systems and to ensure it is in accordance with Company standards , codes and practices Attends FAT at vendor locations for all instrument equipment and ensures that all loop diagrams, cause and effect are as per requirements. Analyzes the newly constructed, installed equipment at the yard before transfer to the Islands compare it with the P & ID. Contributes in FAT, SATS, HAZOPS, HAZIDS, JSAs, SIMOPS and Risk assessments for the projects related to the Yards Performs analysis and diagnosis to provide solutions to instrumentation problems. Ensure materials used are in accordance with specifications Ensures a high level of HSE performance by ensuring work standards, procedures and HSE programs are followed and given a high level of priority. Performs other duties as assigned such as taking part in training / developing new recruits/ UAE National employees/ develops. Correctly identifies all parts, materials and supplies for the 2 years spare of all instrument related equipment at the yards before dispatch to the islands. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, and co-workers.
