DPD - Jr. Planning Engineer

• To assist in the maintenance of the jobs' construction schedules, resource requirements in coordination with the relevant departments across the Company. 2. Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

• 1) Demonstrates good knowledge of Planning Software (Primavera P3 or P6).
• 2) Understands Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). 3) Understands activities, sub-activities, durations and critical path.
• 4) Demonstrates good knowledge and familiarity with relationships between activities (FS, FF, SS, SF).
• 5) Demonstrates good knowledge of ES, EF, LS, LF and their effect on the critical path.
• 6) Demonstrates good knowledge of lag, total float, free float.
• 7) Understands resource types, productivities and manpower histograms.
• 8) Demonstrates good knowledge of activity duration calculation.
• 9) Understands the calendar and its impact on the schedules.
• 10) Understands cost loading and 'S' Curve.
• 11) Understands different type of schedules (Baseline, Updated, Revised, and Recovery).
• 12) Studies contract documents specially clauses related to schedule updates, notifications and milestones.
• 13) Assists in the development of Tender and Baseline schedules.
• 14) Visits sites regularly to monitor the actual progress of work done.
• 15) Acquires the following activity information from Cost Control (COC)/Quantity Surveying (QS):  Quantities.  BOQ Amount.  Cost.  Resources.
• 16) Effectively communicates with the project team.
• 17) Assists in preparing the weekly and monthly reports and participates in the submittals' updates and subcontractors' progresses updates.
• 18) Assists in updating the Actual progress in Amanatech (if required).
• 19) Assists in Extension of Time claim preparation.
• 20) Contributes to the Planning section of the Job Closeout Report. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
