Responsibilities:
- Implement merchandising plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Ensure that product displays are visually appealing, organized, and effectively showcase the features and benefits of the products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for product placement, promotions, and cross-selling.
- Monitor inventory levels and product availability to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess the effectiveness of merchandising efforts and make necessary adjustments.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain product samples, promotional materials, and displays.
- Train store staff on product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and promotional activities.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in promotional events, product launches, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in retail merchandising, sales, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing product displays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and merchandising best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
