Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop production schedules and ensure timely execution of orders.Coordinate with other departments such as sales, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.Resource Management:
Achieve production targets while minimizing costs by effectively allocating resources, such as machinery, and materials.Cost Management and Inventory Control:
Manage and optimize production costs by analyzing and controlling expenses related to materials, labor, and overhead.Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products, and ensure cost-effective sourcing.Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products and manage the budget for the production department.Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements.Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the workplace.Implement safety protocols and provide training to staff to minimize accidents and injuries.Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the production process, whether related to equipment malfunction, supply chain disruptions, or other factors.Customer Relations:
Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and address any concerns or inquiries regarding production processes or timelines.Team Management:
Supervise and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
