Accountant

• Assist with payroll processing and payments
• Conduct statutory filing
• Maintain the general ledger
• Sort financial documents and post them to the proper accounts as required
• Carry out weekly as well as monthly reconciliation of the company accounts
• Process expense reports as necessary
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related course
• The applicant must have several years of experience working as an accountant
• Must be familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Must be able to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
• Excellent data entry and word processing skills
• Must be familiar with accounting software packages as well as Ms Office suite programs
• Must have a strong understanding of mathematics as well as accounting and financial processe
