:JOB PURPOSE:Plan, lead and manage the provision of specialist analytical services for all international target market segments, client profiles and on potential investments initiatives and whilst leading the conducting of feasibility studies whilst maintaining a comprehensive database of market intelligence to support effective market penetration for new international territories in line with the overall business development strategy.Data Analytics Management Lead the conducting of “Deep Dive” studies into prioritized opportunities to convert identified growth options into opportunities as directed by the Manager. Facilitate and coordinate the progression of growth opportunities aligned to markets prioritized in the strategy. Lead the conducting of research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics and new technologies relevant to business segments for all target international markets. Lead the conducting of analysis of the existing products and services portfolio periodically and recommend changes (including fuel and non-fuel strategy) to contribute to effective market penetration for the assigned international market. Lead the conducting of market research and develop recommendations for strategic directions on products, services, channels and technology. Lead the conducting of initial research on identified investment initiatives and the development of financial models as per standard procedures in order to facilitate accurate evaluation of economic performance and risk assessment. Lead the development of project presentations and proposals as requested by senior management to facilitate effective negotiations with potential partners.Build and Maintain Quantitative Models and Databases Lead the development of quantitative models to support the planning, budgeting and documentation of all aspects of specific projects (incl. support of scope, goals and deliverable definition, progress tracking, issue identification and escalation, resourcing, quality assurance). Lead the conducting of periodic reviews of progress and lessons learnt regarding growth activities and share with team for knowledge sharing. Ensure the timely maintenance and updating of existing and develop new financial and businessmodels for future reference.Market Intelligence Keep abreast of new regulations/ policies that may affect the investments and proactively carry out research in to prevailing market trends / strategies and strengthen market intelligence of team in order to facilitate management decision-making in determining market opportunities and development metrics. Lead the conducting of the continuous screening of the industry to identify exhibitions and conferences that fit client's requirements and recommend for participation in order to establish networks and business relationships with potential partners. Lead the conducting of market research and develop a comprehensive data base with market intelligence, competitor analysis etc to facilitate proactive identification of business opportunities and forward leads to M to evaluate viability of options.Process Management Lead the development and standardisation of processes and models, to be utilised for all financial modelling/analysis activities and support the establishment of a uniform/quality assured process. Lead the timely dissemination of all data templates to gather relevant information as prescribed in the process and facilitate accurate consolidation of data for effective functioning of the process.Relationship Management Manage the development and maintenance of effective key business relationships with all relevant external/internal entities and all sections with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner. Form, manage and maintain business partnerships to enhance the value proposition for the retail clientele and drive achievement of enhanced value for service provided. Coordinate with the Marketing Group to define and implement marketing strategies for all products and services within the target international markets.RequirementsMinimum Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 10 years of experience, including 4 years in the field of business development, financial analysis management, within roles of increasing supervisory responsibilities within the same industry. Exhibit strong results-oriented behaviour Organizational, analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills Proven track record in managing stakeholders (internal & external) Excellent communication skills with clarity of expression and a persuasive / engaging style. Team leadership and interpersonal skills Strategic thinking
