• Review charter parties, contracts, and company obligations to ensure compliance.
• Provide marine support to crew for voyage criteria, cargo handling, and ship maintenance.
• Identify and rectify deviations from operational standards for efficient ship operation.
• Establish required certifications for safe operation in adherence to maritime laws and regulations.
• Oversee security, safety, and operational performance of ships, ensuring timely completion of activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance to reduce hazards.
• Liaise with external parties like brokers and insurance companies.
• Maintain vessel filing systems and address non-conformities promptly.
• Assist seafarers with maritime regulations, HR guidance, and safety policies.
• Conduct internal audits, vessel inspections, and prepare budget proposals.
• Monitor vessel maintenance and approve relevant requests and invoices.
• Provide data for analytical reports and share operational concerns with clients.
• Conduct sea crew performance evaluations and participate in interviews and briefings.

• Familiarity with environmental, commercial, and marine regulations.
• Knowledge of OCIMF/CDI guidelines preferred.
• Experience in audits, incident investigation, and HSSEQ compliance.
• Understanding of industry standards and regulations such as SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM/ISPS Code.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong people management and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in English, with multilingualism advantageous.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
