:Takes the responsibility of the overall management of Radiation Protection atNORM plant during normal working hours and shift hours and to assure theimplementation and fulfilment of the protection rules, safety rules and regulationsduring the normal operation, emergency and start-up/shutdown and during the useof radioactive sources/equipment. Assures the implementation and fulfilment of theradiation protection program and relevant safety rules from NORM waste receptionup to final stage of disposal.RequirementsDiploma or equivalent with valid RPO License from accepted certified Authority atboth international and local levels.Certified Health physics education or equivalent certification from accepted Authorityat both international and local levels.At least 5 years working at supervisor level position. Strong experience in radiationindustry along with the field of waste treatment operation and disposal plants or oilrefining industry including adequate knowledge of radioactive wastecharacterization, sampling practices and general management practices.Excellent experience in Operational health physics, dose assessments, andradiological issues related to transportGood experience of NORM generation within the oil and gas industry and radiationprotection and safety operation of waste treatment and disposal plants or refineryoperation in general.Excellent Knowledge of relevant national and international legislation as well asindustry standard in the radiological area.Communication skills (oral, written, presentational, report writing, numeracy).Computer literate is preferred.Interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.Attention to detail.Good knowledge of oral and written English.
