Receive, inspect, and record incoming merchandise or materials.
Ensure proper storage of items, including arranging them in designated areas and maintaining cleanliness.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to identify shortages or discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain records of stock movements, including receipts, withdrawals, and returns.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery and replenishment of stock.
Assist in the packing and labeling of merchandise for shipment or display.
Conduct periodic audits to reconcile physical stock with records and investigate any discrepancies.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to operate basic computer software for inventory tracking.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
