:JOB PURPOSE:Machine learning engineer sits at the intersection of software engineering and data science. He/Sheleverages big data tools and programming frameworks to ensure that the raw data gathered from datapipelines are redefined as data science models that are ready to scale as needed.Design and Build programs that control computers and robots. The algorithms developed by machine learningengineer enable a machine to identify patterns in its own programming data and teach itself to understandcommands and even think for itself as a human beingsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Job Specific Accountabilities

Feed data into models defined by data scientists. He/she also responsible for taking theoretical data science models and helping scale them out to production-level models that can handle terabytes of real-time data.

Design machine learning systems and create artificial intelligence products.

Design and Build Machine Learning Algorithms covering all different logics of Supervised and unsupervised Machine and neural networks.

Responsibilities include creating machine learning models and retraining systems.

Study and transform data science prototypes

Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools

Develop machine learning applications according to requirements

Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods

Run machine learning tests and experiments

Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results

Train and retrain systems when necessary

Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks

WORK CONDITIONPhysical EffortMinimal Physical effort, setting at the desk most of the time extensive use of computerWork EnvironmentDuties are mostly performed in air conditioned office environmentRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum QualificationBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related fieldMinimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

7+ years’ practical experience with Oracle ,SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics

Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis

Relevant experience in O&G Retail is an advantage

Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation

Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills

Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Spotfire, SQL, and programming languages (i.e., Java/Python, SAS and Analytics Solutions)

Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects

Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM,

Decision Forests, etc.
